Riding Lessons
Beginner western riding lessons include a variety of different aspects.
Children start by greeting their horse and learning a few safety rules, followed by grooming their horse and saddling. Then the rider will learn how to lead the horse on foot, and get comfortable leading around the arena. Once the rider is ready, they will be helped in mounting the horse and getting comfortable being on the horse.
Throughout all of the lessons, the rider will learn all about the basics of riding, horsemanship, how to work with their horse on the ground, as well as play a variety of age appropriate games and go for light rides in the field out of the arena.
